Special Events & Awards

 In the course of time, a number of events have become institutionalised, providing high visibility to the CEI and contributing to enhancing its identity. A special category of CEI activities grouping all these events has been created, the CEI Feature Events. These events and activities are recurrent in nature and either carry the name of the CEI in their title or dedicate a special segment to the CEI. Currently there are 10 events of this kind: 

 
In order to honour and encourage initiatives and activities of talented and often young people from the CEI Member States, several CEI Awards are offered, in particular in the cultural, scientific and economic areas. A number of them are presented on the occasion of the CEI Feature Events, while the others could be considered as self standing initiatives.
