The activity represented the 12th edition of the Erasmus Intensive Programmes "Geography of Water". From the beginning, the Intensive Programme was organized as a training and teaching course for master - level post-graduate students and young researchers in order to promote an intercultural and scientific exchange in the field of Geography of Water. In the last years of activity, institutions from the new EU member countries joined the original universities. The seminar included several activities: keynote lectures by international speakers and experts, workshops, fieldwork, poster session. Students attending the seminar received 5 ECTS credits.

R.A.V.E. Space - Raising Awareness of Values of Space Through the Process of Education (implemented)
The R.A.V.E. Space Project, supported by the EU INTERREG CADSES Programme, was an EUR 2 million project that the CEI carried out in partnership with 9 institutions from 5 countries (
SUGAR – Sustainable urban goods logistics achieved by regional and local policies (ongoing)
The Project focuses on the problem of inefficient and ineffective management of urban freight distribution, a critical component of the overall urban transport system and a primary source of vehicle pollutant emissions.
CEI-ES visit to two project sites in Moldova
From the 15 to the 17 of November 2009 the CEI-ES visited two projects in Moldova financed by the CEI Climate Fund for Environmental Protection through the contribution of the Czech Republic: Water resources management strategy definition to reduce pollution of Groundwater and Protect the sources of drinking water for the Balti” and “Development of rural sanitation facility for the Chetrosu village”. The visit allowed to see the concrete results and the achievements of the projects.
